Since retiring from competitive athletics Steve has become a very successful television commentator, first with Eurosport, and then with Channel 4 before joining the BBC as the Chief Athletics Commentator.

Over the 15 years Steve has spent working in the media he has developed a strong passion for life behind the camera (and mic). With exciting and innovative production ideas, 2010 saw his first experience working as Executive Producer on Jane: The Legacy. A touching documentary about the life of Jane Tomlinson and the success of the Leeds 10K she launched back in 2006.

Allison has worked in the media since 2003, predominantly as a BBC Radio 5 live summariser. She also has experience in hosting and presenting various sporting and fundraising events.

Both Steve and Allison are available for any media or speaking related bookings. Please contact Adam Wheatley at Mission Sports Management T: +44 (0)208 871 3500 for any enquiries relating to Steve or the Extra Mile M&E office for any enquiries about Allison.

Next time why not go the Extra Mile?

In 1998 former British Army officer Jim Panton and former international athlete Steve Cram joined forces to raise much-needed funds for the children of a small war-torn community in Bosnia.

Running a 52-mile marathon, they and a handful of Army officers succeeded in raising vital funds for the community. After seeing the difference that their support and funds made they made a pledge to continue their efforts for the benefit of many other children throughout the world. It was at this point that COCO, Comrades of Children Overseas, was born.

To this day, COCO continues to work towards brighter futures across the globe with the same drive and determination.
